VidCompress is built for one goal: make your video small enough to send, then get out of your way.
Add your video
Drag and drop or choose a file. Supported formats: MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI, MKV, WMV. Up to 300 MB per file — and you can select several at once for batch compression.
Pick your destination
Choose Email (≤25 MB), Discord (≤10 MB), WhatsApp (≤16 MB), Telegram (≤50 MB), or set a custom MB target. The preset selects the right compression settings automatically.
Browser compresses it
For files under 300 MB in a compatible browser, compression runs entirely on your device using the MediaRecorder API. Your footage never leaves your machine. Larger files use a cloud path.
Download and send
Your compressed file is ready to download. Send it, attach it, share it — then compress another or check your history in dashboard.
Privacy & data handling
